Going to Spain

I am very excited for the study abroad trip to Oviedo. Meeting new people, experiencing a new culture fully, making new friends, and going on adventures is thrilling! I am happy to see the sights as well as meet my host family and attend classes at the University. I have no idea about who the members of my host family are, so it is hard for me to imagine what they will be like. Nevertheless, I know that the experience with the host family will be wonderful and I will form lifelong friendships. Most importantly, I feel this trip will improve my speaking skills. It will be fun to explore and improvise with the Spanish I know. I am most excited to speak Spanish! I think this trip will be a great way to solidify the skills that I have been learning in class as well as increase my vocabulary. Overall, I anticipate a great experience in Spain full of learning, friends, and fun. Oviedo here I come!!
